# Carolyn Choy – Gestalt Psychotherapy & Counselling | Ultimo, Sydney & Online

> Carolyn Choy is a UK-trained, Masters-qualified Clinical Psychotherapist and Accredited Supervisor based in Ultimo, Sydney, Australia. She holds a Clinical Diploma and M.Sc. in Gestalt Psychotherapy, a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and is registered with PACFA (Clinical #23201).

Her practice offers individual therapy and clinical supervision, face-to-face in Ultimo (accessible from Pyrmont, Glebe, Broadway, Darling Harbour, and Surry Hills) and online/Telehealth Australia-wide.

Carolyn specialises in Gestalt therapy – a collaborative, present-focused approach that works with the whole person: thoughts, emotions, and body. She also offers Nature-Based Therapy and Eco-Psychotherapy as specialist modalities for clients who feel a connection to the natural world.

> Carolyn works with individual adults (18+) on a wide range of concerns including:
- Work stress, burnout, and career anxiety
- Grief, loss, and unfinished business
- Relationship difficulties, conflict, and infidelity
- Anxiety, overwhelm, and social anxiety
- Trauma and difficult past experiences
- Shame, regret, and secrets
- Self-worth, identity, and cultural identity

Sessions are 50 minutes at $170. Concession and student rates are available on request. Private health rebates may apply via BUPA, Medibank Private, AHM, and a range of ARHG funds (St Luke's, Police Health, GMHBA, HBF, and others).

No GP referral is required. Medicare Mental Health Plan is not used, which means no diagnosis on your medical record and no cap on sessions.
